Parte de mi felicidad en el
día de mi graduación se la debía a mi vestido. Sigo enamorada de el.
Mi vestido lo diseñe
yo misma con la ayuda de Melkis Diaz, cuyo atelier hizo todo posible. Tenia
meses planeándolo, buscando inspiración. El reto mas grande con este vestido
fue encontrar la tela exacta, con el color exacto y con las tres B (buena,
bonita y BARATA). Al final, todo quedo perfecto, con algunos imprevistos por
aquí y por allí, pero eso es lo emocionante de la vida!
Decidí hacer mi vestido
color esmeralda porque además de que me encanta lo místico y elegante que este
color emite, esmeralda es el color del 2013, mi año.
Soy fan del trabajo de
Anamia Abreu MUA y tuve el privilegio de que me maquillara para ese día tan
especial. Anamia es una artista! Me encanto todo! Y su trabajo supero mi miedo
mas grande: que se me corriera el maquillaje. Les cuento que mi maquillaje
estuvo intacto la tarde/ noche/ madrugada entera de mi graduación.
Los zapatillas que use esa
noche son marca Chinese Laundry adquiridos en Anthony's; y mis eretes en la
tienda KB.

of my happiness on my graduation day was due to my dress. I am still in love with it.
I
designed the dress myself with the help of Melkis Diaz, whose workshop made
it all be possible. I had been planning it for months, looking for inspiration. The greatest challenge with this dress was finding
the perfect fabric, with the exact color that was altogether good, beautiful and AFFORDABLE. At the
end, everything was perfect with some incidents here and there, but that's the
exciting part of life.
I decided that emerald would be the color of my dress because besides that I love the mystical and elegant vibe that this color emits, emerald is the color of 2013, my year.
I'm a fan of Anamia Abreu MUA 's work and I was privileged that she did makeup for that special day. Anamia is an artist! I loved everything! And her work surpassed my greatest fear: that the makeup "runs out". Let me tell you that my makeup was intact the whole evening / night / dawn of my graduation day.
The shoes that I wore that night are Chinese Laundry acquired at Anthony's, and my earrings at KB store.
