En The Best of NYFW muestro mis desfiles favoritos, los detalles característicos de cada uno y las tendencias que actualmente están dominando el mundo de la moda.

The colorful and fun sense is synonymous of 60s inspired trends.

Retro has never looks so good and it made a statement in the runways for Spring - Summer 2013 that is definitely a must.

2013 Trends Report

Didn't I mention that this year will be bringing great things? Well, in the fashion world, it's already happening! 

I can say that I'm in love with this year's trends. The colors are great and the clothes are to die for.

This year is all about having fun, being relaxed and fresh with what you are wearing, with your fashion outlook.

Estoy enamorada de las tendencias de este años. Los colores son hermosos y las piezas de vestir son para morirse y fácil de adquirir y crear un gran look. Este año se trata de divertirte, sentirte relajado y relajado con lo que uses, con tu outfit.

Trends Report: Baroque

 

The sophisticated baroque style is making an outstanding statement in the fashion world.

Versace, Stella McCartney, Rag & Bone, Marni, Balmain, Aquilano Ronaldi, Jason Wu and Rami Al Ali are just some of the big name designers and labels that brought this time of fine art and over-indulgence to the catwalk, but it was Dolce & Gabbana that was at the forefront of this trend.

El sofisticado estilo barroco se ha convertido en una vistosa preferencia en el mundo de la moda.

Versace, Stella McCartney, Rag & Bone, Marni, Balmain, Ronaldi Aquilano, Jason Wu y Rami Al Ali, son sólo algunos de los diseñadores de renombre y etiquetas que trajeron esta bella arte y los excesos a la pasarela, pero fue Dolce & Gabbana que estuvo a la vanguardia de esta tendencia.

Best of Dominicana Moda 2012: Keyther Estevez

The best of Dominican Fashion Weel, for me, was Keyther Estevez fall-winter 2012-2013 collection. Unfortunately I could not assist to the runway show, but from the pictures I saw and rumors I heard I can judge pretty well.

"With the strength of colors like red, purple, ivory, gold and black brocade dress collection and lace that conjugate the verb gold, complemented by bright textures and sophisticated lines. Vaporous fabrics, waistlines marked, highly structured cuts derived natural fabrics of silk make this bold proposal. Gothic trend was the star. "-DM'12

I fell in love with the runway, with the collection. All details were perfect. The accessories were to die for.

Lo mejor de Dominicana Moda, para mi,  fue la colección del diseñador Keyther Estevez otoño-invierno 2012-2013. Lamentablemente no pude asistir, pero por las fotos que vi y los rumores que escuche puedo juzgar bastante bien.

"Con la fuerza de colores como rojo, púrpura, el marfil, oro y el negro la colección viste brocados y encajes que conjugan el verbo oro, complementados por texturas luminosas y trazos sofisticados. Las telas vaporosas, las cinturas marcadas, cortes muy estructurados y tejidos naturales derivados de la seda conforman esta atrevida propuesta. La tendencia gótica fue la protagonista." -DM'12

Me enamore del desfile, con la colección. Todos los detalles fueron perfectos. Los accesorios estuvieron para morirse.

"Wild Flirt" is the name of the collection spring-summer 2013 presented this year in the Dominican Fashion by Gutiérrez/Marcano.
 

The vision that interprets the essence of what comes naturally in the wild, wildlife, delicate, beautiful and wild drama that ornament shapes and amazing forests and jungles plumage birds you saw in various shades was radiant and so this collection wanted to play.

I had the opportunity to assist and I really enjoyed the colors, textures, everything. Full of animal prints, sequins and pastels colors. All quite sensual with a wild side, perfect.

"Wild Flirt" es el nombre de la colección primavera-verano 2013 presentada este año en Dominicana Moda por Gutiérrez.

La visión que interpreta la esencia de lo que nace naturalmente en libertad, la vida silvestre, delicada, bella y salvaje; el drama de formas que ornamentan bosques y selvas y asombroso plumaje que viste a las aves en radiantes y variados tonos era lo que esta collección queria interpretar. 

Tuve la oportunidad de asistir y realmente me encanto. Disfrute los colores, las texturas, todo. La colección esta llena de animal prints, lentejuelas y colores pasteles. Todo bastante sensual con un lado salvaje.
